In the last few years reggae music was also introduced to the people of austria (central europe), even though the feel for reggae was there, its origin and roots was not always understood and there was not much possibilities to learn about reggae history.

In the upper and lawer provinces of austria there was a need to bring more people in touch with the jamaican culture and its vibrant music roots. In 2001 the Shakadelix sound system was founded to take on the challenge of teaching and spreading reggae vibes from roots to
dancehall
...and to make people move.
